Ambassadors Sends Call to Local Churches
Ambassadors Sends Call to Local Churches
Release date: 7/15/2009
Ambassadors Caregivers seeks to assist Houston local congregations in volunteering for the elderly.
Many ministries seek to have a more active role in the community, but it may be difficult for individuals to find the right opportunity. Ironically, there are many local hospitals, home health, hospice, nursing homes and assisted living facilities that are always seeking volunteers. Ambassadors Caregivers hopes to work as a "bridge" between the potential volunteer and the facility.
How We Help
At Ambassadors, we realize that the service we provide everyday may help to bridge the service gap in the community. Ambassadors provides caregivers for Houston seniors whether at home, in the hospital, or at a retirement facility. Through our relationships with multiple facilities and experience in interviewing, providing thorough screenings & background checks as well as education, we feel we are positioned to help. Many facilities, as well as hospice and home health companies, regularly seek volunteers who are screened and have references and background checks. We'd like to give back to the community by providing the screening and facilitating the connection between the volunteer and the companies. In addition, we can also help place volunteers if they'd like to serve seniors within our organization.
Ambassadors provides home care, whether in a private residence or retirement facility. Ambassadors is licensed by the Department of Aging and Disability Services, and is insured and bonded. Caregivers provide care to seniors and the disabled throughout Greater Houston.
